About Byron-Bethany Irrigation District
Byron-Bethany Irrigation District (BBID) is a multi-county special district serving parts of Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Joaquin Counties across 55 square miles and 36,000 acres. The district serves more than 215 agricultural customers and more than 20,000 residents of the Mountain House community.
BBID also manages the West Side Irrigation District (WSID), which serves agricultural customers and provides raw water to the City of Tracy. BBID provides management services and operations & maintenance support to the Byron Sanitary District, which provides wastewater and sewer services to Byron residents.
